It’s sometimes difficult to know what present to buy for a friend or family member. That’s why I have always had a good following for my “pet themed” fused glass art tealights. They look pretty, they are useful, plus if they have a picture of a dog or cat, then often that’s your problem solved!

At present, I don’t have many tealights featuring our furry friends in stock but more are coming soon, so keep an eye on the ValerieAnn Animal Art Collection in my online gallery.

Fresh out of my kiln today are two “in progress” animal fused glass art pieces (shown below); one with a black dachshund and the other with a white cat. Really pleased with them but have yet to decide if they are going onto a tealight or a small frame. What do you think?

With dogs on my mind, don’t forget that on the first Friday of each month, the Adana Dog Rescue Charity hold their morning Cake Event at O’Callahans Bar on Orange Square in San Luis de Sabinillas.

There’s always a fabulous selection of delicious and tempting cakes to eat there or to take-away. See you there on Friday 2nd May!
