Roses, Flowers

Pink roses and flowers are the theme for my blog today.

Flowers always give us ladies a “lift” - they make us feel happy! And on a dreadful grey & rainy day like today, I think we all definitely need that!

I have chosen to highlight a piece of my unique fused glass art that is one of my favourites. I really enjoyed designing this “Pink Bouquet of Flowers” - a bit fiddly to do but well worth it in the end. It’s in a box frame so can happily sit on a flat surface or can be hung on the wall.

The pretty little necklaces were made at the weekend and, luckily, were fired before the disruption of the power cuts on Monday! PHEW!!

Thank goodness my kiln wasn’t on with numerous delicate pieces of glass being fired. If the kiln had stopped during the firing process, then the outcome would have been far less predictable!

With pink roses and flowers on my mind, the Sienna Elizabeth Rose Foundation are holding a live music fundraiser this weekend, Saturday 3rd May, at Monahan’s Irish Bar in San Luis de Sabinillas - see the poster below for details.
