Walls Need Art

A friend of mine had fallen in love with one of my large seahorse pieces (see my Seascapes collection) and asked for hooks to be added at the top so she could hang it on an inside or outside wall at her home. I have just completed the second fusing for her and have added two extra-large sized beads of glass at the top so that the two hooks are less visible. Next week my lovely seahorse will be “swimming” its way over to Ireland where it will be a happy reminder to my friend of sunny Spain!

Meanwhile, many of my unique fused glass art pieces are enjoying the summer sunshine on the walls of my outside terraces. Currently, there are a total of 13 pieces displayed so I thought… how about making it 14 or even 15?

Having looked through my Larger Designs collection, I decided my “Sandy Bay” piece would look wonderful outside. And it does! But why stop there?!?! If I can persuade hubby Steve to put up some new wall hooks, then I will be hanging my “Coral Sunset” piece outside as well!

Why not acquire some of my work for your walls – browse My Gallery or contact me regarding a bespoke commission.

That’s all for this month but if you’re in the vicinity of Sotogrande over the next few weeks, why not stop by the White Square Art Gallery at Plaza Blanca to see some fabulous art work on display there by local artist Marta Zaragoza.
